Dr Wei Cheong Ngeow

Maxillofacial Surgeon

Currently a lecturer at the Department of Oral and maxillofacial Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Malaya, Dr Wei Cheong is an experienced Maxillofacial Surgeon. Graduating from the University of Malaya in 1992. he went on as private practitioner for 9 months before being offered the post of tutorship He has been a visiting professor at the University of California, San Francisco. Three years later, he became a Senior House Officer a the the Queen Victoria Hospital in England and then obtained a fellowship in dental surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Dr Ngeow then returned to Malaysia where he became a pioneer lecturer at the newly establisted Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. In 2000, he then became a lecturer at the University of Malaya and was a member of the Malaysian Dental Council for two terms. 

Having written 211 published papers in local and international journals, 10 book chapters and a booklet, Dr Ngeow is ready to share his expansive knowledge with the next generation of implantologists. He will be inviting mentees to join him in his clinic in Malaysia or will bring the education to your clinic, with hands-on and theoretical learning experiences.
